Ten days later, the Cubans will be slaughtered for the Small Bayram holiday. The Islamic Community of Kosovo has again decided that the animals will be bought and slaughtered in Hungary as the tender became public by the end of the month. The owners of the slaughterhouses in Kosovo are complaining that it became silent.
The Islamic Community of Kosovo is inviting believers to carry out the sacrificial cut through it.
Animals sacrificed are again purchased and cut off in Hungary, at the Kosovo-Farm company with Kosovo owners.
The latter is turning out to win the tender in the third year in a row.
According to BIX, this is happening as this institution believes Kosovo does not have sufficient livestock capacity.
“Diku over two thousand cow heads are laid to rest in Kosovo. We alone last year have cut over a thousand cows, and Kosovo has no such capabilities”, spokesperson for BIK Ahmet Sadriu told Klan Kosovo.
Even Sadriu says that compared with Kosovo cows, the amount of meat they receive in Hungary comes out to be 30 to 40 percent higher, as cow prices there are cheaper.
But the chairman of the cattle importators' association Bajram Mustafa said he is hearing about the tender now why the announcement on BIK '%s' is dated May 30th.
According to him, this institution reported the slaughterhouses itself and separated the slaughter from some of them. This is as Kosovo has the capacity even over 2,000 leaders for sacrifice.
That there's a capacity in numbers and cuts, they say at the slaughterhouse in Gjilan.
Kosovo's slaughter organisation is also making international organisations KIslamist Reliefʹ at a similar price, like BIK of 120 euros.
But the Islamic Community insists it has the monopoly in this area.
Meanwhile, all believers who wish to make the slaughter through BIK must pay before the day of Kurban Bajrami, celebrated on 21 August.
