Hoti has confirmed Thaci's mandate to lead the dialogue while his statements called them unconstitutional.
Kosovo citizens, through free elections, will decide who will lead the dialogue with
Serbia. One thing is clear that now that that person will not be Mr. Thaci, as he under the Kosovo Constitution has no mandate to decide on these issues. I invite Mr. Thaci stays within the competencies given to the Constitution of Kosovo. His statements are contrary to the Kosovo Constitution. Instead of guaranteeing the constitutional order of the Republic of Kosovo, he is violating it every day, and the Constitutional Court must speak of it”.
Hoti has estimated that Thaci, with his statements, is damaging Kosovo to international levels.
“It has thrown out of office all of Kosovo's diplomacy, as well as the diplomacy of friendly countries, fully preventing new recognitions and membership in Kosovo's international state organisation” has written Avdullah Hoti.
