News of the Journal Express has confirmed Mimoza Kusari-Lila, chairman.
Kusari-Lila said the alternative will act as independent within the Kosovo Assembly.
According to her reason they have decided to tear down the coalition, it is after the party has come to a point where it needs more focus and greater space outside LDK.
“Yes, we are out of the Democratic League of Kosovo parliamentary group. Ilir and I will now be independent deputies in the Kosovo Assembly, representing the” Alternative, Lila told Gazeta Express.
However, according to the party chairman, co-operation with the LDK will continue within the opposition.
There is no difference in politics and access to what we've been declared so far in the negotiations, we stand at all those points, as regards the necessity of changing the form of governance” it said.
The LDK and the Alternative had signed their joint coalition in May last year for extraordinary elections.
