Agim Bahtiri municipality: We're safe.

Directed by the municipality's deputy head, Faruk Mujka, on Friday has been held the regular meeting of the Community Security Council (KKSB), in which the director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Nehat Bahtiri, participated. Directed by the municipality's deputy head, Faruk Mujka, on Friday has been held the regular meeting of the Community Security Council (KKSB), in which the director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Nehat Bahtiri, participated.
Also present at the meeting were representatives of the southern police station, representatives of the Kosovo Security Force, the Catholic Church, the Islamic Community in Mitrovica, representatives of the Kosovo Protestant Church (KPUK) and representatives from other organisations.
Initially, the director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Nehat Bahtiri, who welcomed those in attendance and expressed readiness for co-operation with members of the Municipal Security Council in the Community, in order to be done together in order for the citizens of Mitrovica to be safe in their environments.
The municipality's deputy head, Faruk Mujka, said the Municipal Community Security Council is one of the most important instances in our municipality.
As the most important point considered at this meeting was the re-integrating of returnees from Syria and Iraq and their family, the topic which was proposed to be discussed by Albanian Medici, consultant at ATRC.
Albanian Medici, before the audience, spoke of the project that is designed to provide $2.5m in order to co-operate with people who have returned from Syria and Iraq in order to prevent extremism and radicalism. She said that since there are 39 people in the town of Mitrovica, among them there are women and children who have gone to these states.
The representative of the southern police station in the municipality of Mitrovica, Qazim Ahmetaj, said that in Mitrovica the situation is calm and these persons have left Kosovo more for economic reasons, to add that those people do not pose any danger to our country, because they have turned out more, thinking they will find a better life.
All members of the Municipal Security Council in the Community were of reconciliation for these people to create jobs in order to have a better life, and to integrate into society.
