The Mitrovica municipality has announced that municipal inspectors, backed by police, have not allowed vendors to expose their products on sidewalks and other public spaces, money for citizens' exploitation.
“We are in service of citizens without interruptions, so we're out early this morning to prevent vendors from exposing their products to sidewalks and other public space to sell, as this is preventing the free movement of citizens”, the Comuna reports, under which this action has also been undertaken at citizens' request.
The Mitrovica municipality has announced that work has gone well and smoothly.
Municipal inspectors announced that vendors have respected the inspectors' orders and there has been no need for police intervention or pronunciation of mandated penalties.
This, they say, is about the fact that retailers are understanding the seriousness of the commitment of municipal inspectors and the importance of releasing public spaces for free and unimpeded movement.
