At first, there will be homazhes at the martyrs' cemetery in the village of Rance, starting at 10:00, and then a memorial hour will be held in the village of Rence by 11:00.
On August 26, 1998, Serbian artillery killed 11 members of the Aslan family, of whom 8 were children of different ages and three women.
In this painful event, they have lost their lives: Jalldyze Aslan (1934), Halide Asllani (1963), Ayse Aslan (1971), Burim Aslan (1985), Lumnije Aslan (1986), Ejup Aslani (1988), Luljet Aslan (1991), Shpend Aslan (1993), Jafer Asllani, (1995), Antigona Aslani (1997) and Albia Asllani (1998). On that fateful day in this village by Serb forces, 96-year-old old Zeqir Aslan was executed.
