In the last week alone, public companies' maintenance teams under the supervision and organisation of the Public and Emergency Services Directorate have eliminated nearly 20 illegal waste depots with a few tons in Ferizaj and villages.
The action is a continuation of the local government initiative to offer citizens clean environment, meanwhile, and municipal inspectorate, that of the environment, respectively, to pronounce fines against environmental pollutants as a measure of increased civic awareness of environmental care, as well as punishment for the pollutants of common spaces.
Public Services and Emergency Services Directorate Director Arben Halili has stressed that such shares are constantly under way, resulting in the elimination of hundreds of illegal waste depots, resulting in tons of waste removed from the city area and villages.
