It has been exactly 11 years or 4,018 days since the afternoon of August 30th 2007 in a Pristina neighbourhood was fatally shot by Triumf Riza, former member of the Kosovo Special Police Unit.
When more than a decade has passed since the assassination was carried out, a court process has ended with the decision of a 35-year prison form against the accused that he fired at Risa, Arben Berisha, while another trial process against the one allegedly inciting him is still continuing.
The story of Riza's conflict with Enver Sekiraq and his alleged group by the prosecutor in the case dates back to the post-war with an incident that occurred in what is known as the Circle in Pristina.
According to the prosecutor investigating this case, Andrew. Carney, this meeting marked the Risa Police meeting on one side, with Enver Sequirahen.
Over the course of a few years, the famous pop music singer in Kosovo, Adelina Ismaili, who argued that she was familiar with the two accused as the conflict took on new proportions as the prosecution mentioned several cases of friction, confrontation, escorting or even shooting as mentioned in the 2005 Christmas night event in Swiss Casino.
The conflict according to the Prosecutor's Office continued with tingling, cutting, tracking, burning car, shooting by 2007, where it ended with the murder of Triumf Riza.
According to the prosecution, at Rizza Arben Berisha, one of the unknown members of the Sekiraqa group who was willing to take over carrying out this task.
Arben Berisha in 2010 was sentenced to 35 years in prison for killing Triumf Riza, while this decision has taken a firm form, the process against what is accused of inciting this murder has not found an end.
In May 2016, after a court hearing process of dozens of witnesses and dozens of hearings, Sekiraqa was found guilty and sentenced to 37 years in prison by a majority court of EULEX judges.
The Sekiraq's defence strongly opposes this decision, calling it unfair and claiming there is even no evidence supporting the prosecution's claims.
On that claim, Sekirafafi's defense complained to the Court of Appeals, and the recent insistence of justice turned the case into retrial.
According to Sekiraqa's defence, he had nothing to do with Arben Berisha, in no way in any way prompted him, ordered or promised a gift to Arben Berisha, but that Berisha committed the murder, since he was sometimes beaten by Triumf Riza.
During the trial, Sekiraqa was charged with three counts of prosecution as he was found guilty of the point of inciting the assassination of Triumf Riza.
The trial process against Sequirah, who had surrendered to EULEX in 2016, lasted close to two years, while in this process, often because of pre-lawed reasons, the public was disfellowshipped.
Among the witnesses in this process were the father and brother of Triumf Riza who blamed Sekeraq for losing their family.
Evidence of Adelina's mother and sisters was also heard from behind the closed doors of the public, but friends and former colleague of the late Riza, such as Besnik Hasani and Shpend Qerim, both convicted of serious criminal acts.
Special attention was also given to the testimony of Arben Berisha in this judicial process.
Berisha, in his testimony to the prosecutor's numerous questions, denied being prompted, pushed or whatever else by Enver Sekiraqa.
Who's the man who kills for Enver Sekerrah spends his life in prison, am I being stupid to you?
Berisha in his testimony said he had been detained and beaten by Riza, and that was rejected by prosecutor Carney.
The intense interest also aroused an expertise made by a Kosovo toxicologist, who found Treumf Riza drunk at the moment of his murder. The expert did this on the basis of an estimate that he achieved in the session. This conspiracy was dismissed by an expertise which made an institute from Croatia's Zagreb, while prosecutor Carney named the local expert's findings absurd and tragic.
After hearing all witnesses and administrations of all evidence presented by both Sekiraqa's defence on the one hand and by the prosecutor on the other, he decided to have his confidence in the latter's claims by condemning him to 27 years in prison.
In October of last year, the Court of Appeals found support for Sekeraq's defence claims by undermining the punitive act and turning the case into retrial.
The subject to Enver Sekirras has been transferred to local judges after returning to the retrial by the Court of Appeals in November last year and since then no session has been held.
When the Court of Appeals in November last year turned the case into retrial, it ruled that it also freed Sequirah from custody. But he did not last more than 30 hours outside bars, because the court quickly returned him to the High Security Prison in Duz, Podujevo.
