Whatsapp Rape Scandal, 12 persons arrested

“12 people have been arrested for the murders, which occurred on Sunday”, The police reported to the BBC.

The victims belonged to a nomad community and had passed through the village.

Despite attempts by police to challenge them, mob incidents involving such gossip continue.

Police have imposed a curfew in the village, as the situation remains tense.

They said that people from this community often pass by even though the villagers have asked them not to approach them.

One of the men is said to be talking to a girl and some villagers, who are allegedly part of the group.
