During the visit to Rome, Wessel will be expected at a special meeting by Italy Senate President Maria Elizabeth Alberti Caselati.
Prime Minister Veselini will seek the support of the Italian Senate and state for Kosovo's support in the visa liberalisation process.
After receiving positive recommendation from the European Commission, which has confirmed that Kosovo has met all criteria for visa liberalisation, Wessel is continuing visits to the European Union states to seek their support in further steps so that Kosovo citizens can be able visa-free movement in the Schengen area this year.
