“E imprisoned, isolated, sentenced, re-deddened, 28 years without fail. But they don't break it. You don't do it for yourself. Adam Demaschi had overcome fear of the conqueror, and he courageously taught an entire people to overcome fear. This is where freedom began, because a people who do not fear invaders will surely gain freedom”, said Chief Prime Minister Wessel.

Ladies and Gentlemen
Our whole nation is in grief.
We've lost one of the great men this earth has given in the last 100 years.
We have lost Ademi Demac, the symbol of our entire national movement for Kosovo's freedom and independence.
Our hero and our inspiration.
The pain is endless. But the same infinite pride that we had this great, rare, extraordinary man of the nation. A unique patriot.
Adem Demach was the first in the hard, full fight for national deliverance.
When, after years of terror, the Yugoslav regime was celebrating the complete crackdown on Albanian resistance, right in the dark years of the last century, it was Adem Demac who raised the voice of resistance and freedom uprising.
And he never stopped or gave up.
He was imprisoned, isolated, convicted, re-deddened, 28 years without fail. But they don't break it. You don't do it for yourself.
Adam Demaschi had overcome fear of the conqueror, and he courageously taught an entire people to overcome fear.
This is where freedom began, because a people who don't fear invaders will surely gain freedom.
Ademi Demac was the conscience of our national movement for the liberation of Kosovo.
The most stubborn dissident in the whole Communist world.
Europe's Mandela.
The dissident of Vaslav Havel's calibration, of Leh Vala.
Kosovo Albanians' most dominant representative in European resistance to communist tyranny. For this, the Democratic World awarded him the Sakharov Award.
His work served as the source of inspiration not only for our war, for the Kosovo Liberation Army, but also for the construction of the new state of Kosovo, on the basis of sound foundations, values of freedom and democracy.
Adam Demaschi was the honor of the nation, and he will last forever.
Each of us today is proud to have the fate of living in the age of Adam Demach.
Intellectual and political activist of the European level.
He never asked for anything for himself. Nothing.
For him, Kosovo's freedom was the greatest honor.
And if there's a man whose life and work best embodys the individual's report with his homeland, as it goes to that famous saying, the emblems of " “don't ask what you've done for your country, but what you've done for your country” this man is Adam Demach.
Yeah. Part of Kosovo's history is the story of his life.
Thank you for everything you've done for your country for the rest of your life, Adam Demach.
You will live forever in our hearts.
Our children will grow up learning about you.
Our institutions will be inspired by your patriotism.
The memory of you will live forever, as will the one you dedicated to forever: COSOWY.
