Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has said Thursday that Albanians are more willing than Serbs to defend what they consider their own.

He says that in mid or late September he will address Serbs in Belgrade on the Kosovo case.

“Albanians are more motivated than we Serbs to defend what they consider them to be. I think we have a good chance not to lose everything”, says the president of Serbia, commenting on a statement by Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, who has said partitioning Kosovo will not happen.

Vuciq has stressed that a long-term solution for a more distant future should be considered.

This is why I'm looking for a compromise that our children won't suffer in the future, we shouldn't have our children having the same concerns as we have”, Vuciq said about rts, sends out Telegrafi.

Vuciq has also spoken a few words about recent opinions about the exchange of territories. “... no one offered us a split”, he said.

He says something must be done that is in the best interest of the Serbian people.

Could we do this without US and Russian support? It's not realistic. However, we will fight for the interests of Serbs in Kosovo, Albanian politicians must know that,” said the president.

According to him, Serbs will have a good future, will live better, with more factories, with a clear guide to the future.

Responding to the question of what will happen on August 4th, the deadline the EU has given Pristina to the Association of Serb majority municipalities, the president said “this from work will have nothing. ”
