Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq has held a telephone conversation today with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. He has asked her to speed up construction of the Nis-Pristina highway.
During the conversation, they have discussed the situation in the region and the migration crisis.
Vuciq has stressed that the Regional Economic Zone is a project of crucial importance for the future of the whole region, as it will attract more investments and accelerate the flow of goods and services.
The conversationators have also discussed continuing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, where they have agreed that preserving peace and reaching a compromise solution are of crucial importance to both sides.
Vuciq and Merkel also talked about migration crisis and measures Serbia has taken to continue its responsible policy on this issue
