The next visa promise comes from Wessel: Next week we expect positive recommendation

Wessel has said the decision that the positive recommendation for this is expected next week.

Our citizens' expectations are that very soon we have positive recommendation from the European Union. Over the next week, we expect positive recommendation. At the same time, we are in touch with our friends, Kosovo friends who are pro-visa liberalisation”, Wessel said in RTK.

“We are intensively in order that by the end of the year we have free movement of our citizens towards the European Union. Kosovo has met all criteria, and at the same time we expect this progress to be recognised even by EU countries”, Veselin stressed.

He expressed confidence that the problems with the immigration that other countries had following the liberalisation would not happen to Kosovo as well.

Kadri Wessel recently paid a series of visits aimed at lobby for the positive decision by EU institutions for liberalisation.
