However, this minister has come up against the collapse, expressing his concern.
MAST says the centre for education and counseling for blind and semi-virgin students “James Deda” is in the hands of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, which will address this issue together with the parties involved in the process.
“MAST will find the right solution and, in the first place, will take into account the specifics of blind children so that they can continue their education and education based on their needs. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology assures parents and children that in co-operation with other parties, it will provide physical conditions and everything related to equipment and services that the stem centre should provide. It will be functional and in the service of their children and parents. Once official information is received, MAST will be informed of the concrete steps it will take regarding the case in question”, said the MAST communiqué.
Civil society and school directors are also opposed to the fallout in Pec. The old object more than 100 years old and with history it is at risk of falling apart.
When built shortly after World War I, it was first exploited by the army and then by customs. Later, the object was converted to the general hospital in the city of Peja. And for 40 years now, this building has a very special mission, education and counseling for blind students.
But, that Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Administration did not take into account the values and importance of this single school in Kosovo, when, a year ago, through a memorandum of co-operation, they decided to destroy it to build a new facility for the Pec Foundation Court.
The Education Union has reacted against this initiative, which through a communique has called for the tribunal's object to be built elsewhere rather than on this parcel.
