Unions are being deceived by campaign arrangements

Kosovo trade unions are not noted for this organisation, nor are they believed to be working in favour of workers.

The perception of them is the signing of agreements with politicians and party leaders in time of campaigning.

This, according to civil society activist, is about the fact that they lack the concept and political representation, which would make the difference, making them vulnerable and dependent on political parties.

The head of the Kosovo Federation International Health Federation has benefited greatly with the recent sectoral contract, which has signed with Health Minister Ismaili Bridge.

With it, the ministry has made a commitment to care for the Union's offices and also to delegate some executive competencies, which are legally due to other institutions.

For Arton Demhaje this fact is not right. He thinks a union union is required to lobbie on the implementation of the Kolektive contract.

Moreover, many institutions, which have large numbers of workers, have two organisms that, according to the Civil Society, also highlight the fact that unions are politicised. Education workers, those working in Kosovo Post and Telecom and RTK workers, are just some who have parallelisms in their union organisation. The unions don't even believe their own workers.
