The Turkish government has ended the external situation that was imposed two years ago, following failed coup attempts, state media have said.
During this period, tens of thousands have been arrested and fired from their jobs.
However, the government has decided not to continue this situation again, the announcement said.
The decision comes weeks after Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan has won another term as president.
During the presidential campaign, other candidates have said their first decision in the event of victory would be to end this situation.
More than 107,000 people have been fired and more than 50,000 others have been imprisoned, pending trial, has been disclosed by official statistics and nongovernmental organisations.
Most of the missing persons are allegedly supporters of religious cleric Fetullah Gulen, who lives in the United States.
Turkey accuses Gulen and his supporters of organising the failed stamp, while he constantly denies these claims.
In the failed coup attempts in 2016, more than 250 people have died as a result of clashes. / REL/
