According to them, such decisions have an unprecedented cost, because goods are contracted before the season and that the ministry's assessment is wrong.
Business representatives, although being for the protection of local producers, have also demanded that estimates be made based on consumer demands, since, contrary to them, there will be increased prices of products in question, at the same time, the inability to meet consumer needs.
The MTI days ago has ruled for protection measures against trees and vegetables, which are expected to take effect 18 July. For implementation of this decision, Kosovo Customs has indicated they are awaiting certain guidelines from the Kosovo Government and on Wednesday will begin with implementing the decision.
