President Thaci has said this is a marked day for France and the entire world of freedom.
The French Revolution, according to President Thaci, was the beginning of radical changes, not just in France, but the whole world.
The “Porossia Paris gave on Bastija Day became a message and aspirations for the whole free world. Freedom, equality, and brotherhood became world desires, and many states and societies were built on their spirit. These values were essentially of Kosovo's aspirin, to be free, equal to other countries, in a community of frativity with other peoples”, said President Thaci.
The head of state stressed that these values belong not only to history but also to the present and future.
Above all, according to President Thaci, our commitment to install and protect these values is not yet complete.
When President Macro requires internal reform of the EU, it requires greater strengthening of freedom, equality and brotherhood among EU states. When we in Kosovo talk about normalising relations with Serbia and building lasting peace in the region of Southeast Europe, we are talking about strengthening freedom and equality between the peoples and states of our region. We are grateful to France, each man of the woman, who has contributed to the installation of these values”, President Thaci has said.
The country's first expressed gratitude for France's support in building the state of Kosovo and our multiethnic and tolerant society.
I'm glad that we have built excellent bilateral relationships and we continue to work to deepen this cooperation and friendship. Therefore, on Bastija Day, we remember the wars and sacrifices that we have made during history”, he added.
President Thaci renewed our citizens' commitment and institutions to one state, to a society, to a Europe, and to a world in which all people, indiscriminately, will live happily and with dignity, freedom and equality.
