He has responded to criticism addressed yesterday by MPs during the parliamentary debate on dialogue with Serbia.
I have no jealousy or competition to be president of the country. They have also voted me for prime minister as well as president. I know how to work with political opponents, I respect everyone's opinion, but they should contribute ideas to empowering the state”, Thaci said further.
He also spoke of the request of Presevo Valley leaders to discuss their case in Brussels.
He said he respects their request and that debate is under way.
Thaci warned that media conferences will become more frequent.
“conferences will be more frequent in the future, the reason is for transparency and accountability. I've even been dating citizens, we have no reason to hide from our agenda. I came from Ramouille and talked to fellow fighters about the signed agreement. I'll be on the ground, people should be informed”, he said.
