Gamba said that since the beginning of 2018, the United Nations has verified over 1200 violations of children.
According to her, more than 600 children killed as well as 180 recruited or used by government forces or armed groups are involved. Gamba announced that the first quarter of 2018 marked a 48 - percent increase in child murder.
