The Athens-based daily newspaper “Elefheri Ora” reported on July 31st that “certain circuits near the Greek government have spread scenarios that Turkish spies used Russian technology to start a fire in the Matt region, where eight former Turkish soldiers who were accused by Ankara as publicists” were held.
Turkish soldiers had arrived in Greece after a failed stamp on July 15, 2016.
In January, the Greek Supreme Court ruled against the extradition of former soldiers, who were released in another decision last month, causing a diplomatic crisis between Athens and Ankara, the “Hurriyet” broadcasts Periscopi.
Greek authorities refuse to reveal the current whereabouts of suspected Turkish pimps.
Another newspaper also blames foreign powers to destabilise the political situation in the country.
Other conspiracy theories say the Rothschild family was involved in the fire that swept Athens.
Meanwhile, a Greek clergyman has claimed that the fire was a sin, as Greece's Prime Minister Tsipras was an atheist./Periscopi/
