They have not agreed to the question of the vote. Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said the leader of VMRO- The DPMNE has demanded amnesty for opposition party officials as a condition to support the name referendum, but that, according to him, will not be accepted.
Meanwhile, all have agreed that during the referendum in Macedonia there will be a technical government, according to the Persit model, whenever elections or referenda are held instead. The referendum will be held in the fall and a “Po<1> for the name of Northern Macedonia, sealed the agreement with Athens, and no longer brings any obstacle to NATO membership and the European Union.
A few days ago, Skopje received an invitation for membership in the North Atlantic Alliance, while next June awaits the opening of membership negotiations with Albania.
