Gjilan's chief prosecutor, Jetish Maloku, for KALLXO.com, confirmed that Radomir Antic was arrested after a large arsenal of weapons was found at home.
“>E confirms that Radomir Antic has been assigned detention measure for 30 days, under suspicion of carrying out illegal weapons offense”, Maloku told KALLXO.com.
The same has been confirmed by KALLXO.com as has Antic's lawyer, Vlastimir Petrovic.
My “Klient is in custody and is being investigated for illegal possession”, Petrovic said.
Radio Contact Plus, reported that against Radomir Antic, the Kosovo Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into the suspicion that the same has committed war crimes in the Zegovci village area of Verbica, near Gjilan during 1999.
Chief Prosecutor Jeanish Maloku has declined to comment on this information. While lawyer Petrovic has denied the news that his protector, Radomir Antic, has been arrested for war crimes.
