The genetic origin of the peoples here in Grafi has been compiled in the studies of samples published in the European Journal of Human Genetics. On the basis of this, Albanians turn out to be a balanced mix of DNA Spalopar J (South East Europe), Western Europe (21.2), North/Centre Europe I (21.7) and Middle East E1b1B (22.4). Over 60, of our genetic background, is close to Serbs. Albanians differ from Serb to highest DNA content R1B (Western Europe) and the lowest weight of Central European DNA. The Albanian genetic origin turns out to be similar to Greek, Sicilians, Serbs and Vlachs.
