Safety Measures With Negative Effects

The partial attraction of the decision on safeguard clauses for 21 products of trees and vegetables is considered to be a game that harms business business business business business afarism and undermines Kosovo's image in terms of business representatives and expert economic issues.

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, according to them, has not done an analysis of all components, and that this measure has negatively affected trees and vegetables processing and consumers, writes Koha Ditore today.

The Kosovo government a week after adopting the Trade and Industry Ministry's decision to impose safeguard clauses for 21 products of trees and vegetables has changed it, removing the customs duty by 30 percent for 14 products.

In the new decision, it has interrupted temporary safeguard clauses in imports for potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, shale, melons, early cabbage, monocultural beans, cobble, raspberries, cherry, corn, spinach, onions, and salad.

The temporary measure of protection in import will continue to apply for 7 products, tomatoes, pepper, apple, pear, plum, raspberries and grapes.
