The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development will take concrete steps to overcome the difficulties created in the raspberry sector last days. That's what Minister Nenad Ricalo said for a while.
These were concluded today, at the meeting that Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Nenad Ricalo had with the chairman of the Association of Mijdra Cultivators, Sami Uka.
Minister Rikalo stressed that he would continue to support raspberry growers and promised that he would take all measures to overcome the crisis caused during these days in the raspberry sector. “As a minister, we will also consider the possibility of changing the methodology of subvention of this sector since next year, where we will also create a working group that will deal with this problem in order to overcome the situation created in recent days, despite the fact that these Soviet growers are being supported by 400 euros for planting hectares and through investment grants worth about 2.5 million euros. So we will see the possibility that this form of support will be changed from next year”, Minister Ricardo said.
He has stressed that it will be expected until the radiation of the raspberry plant this year, where they will have data on the growing amount of this agricultural culture, which, according to it, will also be decided on the way the raspour sector supports, in which problems have emerged during this year.
On the other hand, the chairman of the Association of Mjedra Cultivators, Sami Uka, thanked the minister for his willingness to co-operate and for the ongoing support he is giving these producers with the aim of overcoming problems.
