After medical visits have been selected for surgical intervention 7 children, 13 complex operations have been conducted so far, while 14 operations are expected to take place by Friday.
The medical team is working throughout the day until late hours of the night so that all children in need of surgery can obtain this service.
“Thank you prof. Pacy Dewan and the local team, the Kind Cuts for Kids and the Albanian Community in Melbourne, Australia, have been saved the budget dedicated to treatment outside public health institutions worth 530,000 Euro”, the KKUK report said.
The close co-operation of this kind with professors from Australia started in 2010 and has produced excellent post-actival results, with great importance even in the ongoing professional education of doctors, the KKUK estimates.
