Among these officials was former Secretary Demush Shasha, who completed his mandate weeks ago.
Shasha and three other officials of the ministry were being investigated on suspicion of misusing their official positions, allowing some business tickets to be bought instead of economic ones.
Koha Ditore has been addressed to the State Prosecutor for more than a month on this issue, but they have not responded.
However, several different sources have told the paper that the investigation has been firing for more than a month.
The investigation had begun after about seven years, since former Prime Minister Vlora Citaku had taken the European Integration Ministry under management.
The investigation was closed several days after “Koha Ditore” had reported investigating this official.
