The Constitutional Court in Gjilan has declared a rejection of accused Q. M., since the session held today, the prosecutor has been acquitted of prosecution.
The accused Q. M., in the quality of the mayor of the municipality of Gjilan, has been charged by the prosecution for signing the Public-private Partnership Agreement of 23.05.2012, in the name of the former CRM “Higjen” in Gjilan, for establishing the joint shareholder company “Eco Higyna” with contracting authority “Eco Vision” in Gjilan on uniting capital means by 51 for private partner and 49 % for public partner.
After reviewing all of the subject papers and the hearing of witnesses, the prosecutor of the case in the final case, in the absence of evidence, has renounced prosecution of accused Q. M., which has been charged with misusing the position or authority of the official article 422 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo Penal Code (KPRK).
