At a meeting called by the head of The PDK has attended only Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, the AAK chairman simultaneously, as well as deputy prime ministers who are party leaders. Wessel has said such meetings have also asked the opposition, but is now refusing to participate. According to him, negotiating with Serbia is not a privilege, but a political sacrifice, Koha Ditore writes today.
“With Serbia should be talked about for the sake of our children and the sacrifice to preserve what we have achieved so far. This is the duty and responsibility of the entire political spectrum. The message we had to send would be the message of consistent unity that Kosovo is an independent and sovereign state and sovereignty is inconsistent”, Veselin said.
He has added that the Kosovo Assembly will have a crucial role in the dialogue process. According to Wessel, the lack of leadership in the opposition has created the situation where there is still no direct participation in dialogue.
