The Democratic Youth of Kosovo, with a symbolic action, has demanded that the visa-free decision be enacted as soon as possible.
On the day when the European Commission gives the recommendation about visa liberalisation for Kosovo, hundreds of young PDK people have said Kosovo citizens deserve to be equal to all peoples of Europe.
The symbolic event was held at NEEBORN, where the letter E, which symbolized Europe in this case, was stripped of the chain with which it was surrounded, by the PDK youth seeking freedom of movement for Kosovo citizens and the unfair removal of the isolation that exists against them.
New people need to move freely and have the right to be equal. We do not deserve to have obstacles to study abroad, to exchange experiences with other young people in Europe, to give entrepreneurs opportunities, to look closely at cultures, or just to watch a football match or a” concert, said Kosovo Democratic Youth Chairman Donjet Bislimi.
“Freedom of movement is not political, but it is civic right, and we believe that the EU will offer this too quickly for us”, he added further.
