Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Government of Kosovo Behgjet Pacolli, via the social Twitter network, has reacted to stopping the deployment of Kosovo's flag at the World Cup championship in Russia.
The “angry at Russia's actions to stop using the Kosovo flag during the World Cup final. Kosovo is a member of FIFA and I call on them to react to the abuse Russia has committed against Kosovo”.
“Politics must stay out of sport”, Pacolli said.
His reaction comes as at Russian stadiums, Kosovo's flag is barred from being displayed along with several other flags.
