Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli says a division of the country as a solution to problems with Serbia would be a violation of sovereignty, and no one in Kosovo would be willing for such a discussion.
In an interview for the Voice of America, he said there are many other problems to be resolved with Serbia before the issue is carried out.

“I have not heard anymore that it has been designed for the division of Kosovo. So far there's only been rumors about this case. But, if those voices are true, we will have violations of the sovereignty of Kosovo. However, such a subject is now hard to discuss. We have other topics that should be discussed with Serbia. So far, it has not been discussed anywhere on the issue of partitioning Kosovo”, Pacolli has said.

He has shown that guests from America have demanded that there be political unity of Kosovo in dialogue with Serbia. Pacolli has also talked about the collection of compormies between Kosovo and Serbia.

“Kosovo is very small. There's nothing to offer anyone. We've given everything so far. Now we must be unique in dialogue. He also asked for a major compromise. But now I can't talk about this compromise. Neither in Kosovo have we discussed compromise”.

Pacolli was in Washington to attend the State Department Minister on Religious Freedom.
