The launch of the Kosovo Police website for publishing fines in traffic is continuing to have technical problems.
The same has been acknowledged by Kosovo Police spokesman Bajram Krasniqi himself, who has invited citizens to improve mistakes by sending payment papers to police stations. Information technology officials say that with this platform, the personal data of citizens is protected.
The Kosovo Police online platform for the publication of traffic fines pronounced against the country's citizens continues to have mistakes even a week after launch.
This has been confirmed for public television by Kosovo Police spokesman Bajram Krasniqi, who has invited citizens to improve their own mistakes.
“in the absence of a unified system of all institutions, such as police, courts, banks, there is also the possibility of showing any optimum-time payment failure carried out by citizens. In cases where any fines have been left unentered, then we have invited citizens to visit the nearest police stations and check whether their ticket has been paid off, their fine from system”, he said.
However, intelligence expert, university professor, Blerim Rexha, says the site should provide opportunities for citizens to upload online data, facilitating the improvement of mistakes in this regard.
Kosovo Police urgently need those citizens who figure out the fines in the system, which they paid but the police have not updated those notes, to offer opportunities for citizens through this website to charge relevant evidence that has paid fines. At the moment it is only this extra point that should be added to this app, because the app is like European apps”, he said.
As for citizens' personal data security, Professor Rexha has said the site is of recent technology in terms of data protection.
THE only concern is that here the other person for the other parties was able to verify the fines, but no matter how these fines are taken and misused by others. ”
Rexha has said he has also given as a recommendation to the Kosovo Police Institute to offer a biometric card with which citizens would have access to personal data from any country.
