Media Vital role in the collapse of prejudice

The media can play a vital role in the collapse of the barriers that divide us and the invasion of prejudices between Serbs and Albanians, stated today, the ATSH director as he participated in the international conference held in Belgrade on the subject “Serbs and Albanians in which direction?”

The conference, organised by the Serbian news agency “Tanjug” in co-operation with the Albanian Telegraph Agency (ATSH), focuses on discussions of relations between two nations, historical, political and international circumstances that generate these relations today, such as travelling the two countries towards the EU.

In her address, ATSH Director Armela Krasniqi indicated that it is always a pleasure to visit Belgrade, a town with clear roads, broad boulevards that are interspersed by the greatness of the Danube, which bears in itself the scent of a region, which for centuries has produced more history than they can.

Praising the geographic position in the region of Serbia's capital, Krasniqi said that “Belgrade, a metropolis at the crossroads of many civilizations over the centuries, could be the ideal place to discuss the way we predict our common future.

Speaking of the future of two countries Serbia and Albania towards EU integration and the Berlin Process as the new communication bridge, ATSH Director Armela Krasniqi referred to the theme of this conference “Serbs and Albanians, in what direction?”. / A T S/
