The Post Management is being closely and concerned about the strike organised by labour unions and employees.
The management says it has warned in March of this year that it will not be able to do the execution of workers' salaries, nor to pay the company's operational expenses unless the Government fulfills its legal obligation to the company to cover losses in the universal postal service.
Because of the failure to reveal Universal Postal Service, we've been forced to do salary executions in two weeks. We have given priority to degrees of 1-5, while 5-17 salaries have been paid late. Also, we have had problems in VAT payments to ATK, and now we have warnings of blocking our bank accounts. Posta has created dozens of new services at the company by raising the value of the company, but even these services have not been enough to cover the loss caused by the Universal Postal Service. We've made drastic cuts in operational spending until the company's normal operation is threatened. Now the demands of the Unions and Post employees are considered fair and legitimate through the realisation of which we will become its stable, financially stable venture, and we will also bring new services into the company. As management of the company, we pray to the Government of Kosovo that as soon as it deals with the company's demands because every day the delay will be of very serious consequences to us, the company and its overall image”, the Post Community says.
Management has apologized to all consumers for these concerns, but this situation is said to have been warned long ago through official paperwork and public procurement.
