Macedonian Opposition Seeks Forgiveness of Sela's Zaev

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev flatly rejected VMRO DPMNE's request for forgiveness of persons who were attending for the events of April 27th. The stand was mentioned, not in the part of the talk about last night's talks, but as part of the journalists ' question. “Amnist, direct, indirect, ignored, I have no right either I or Mickoski, [...]
I have no right either I or Mickoski, nor anyone else in the state in which we fight for the most important reform in the judiciary, rule of law, and the law applies equally to all. This is unthinkable. And for things like this, normally we can't talk. We have no right, we have no” mandate, Zoran Zaev said.
The <x0directiated and ignored “that Zaevi mentioned so far was not known as the subject of opinion talks. Part of the media, referring to unofficial sources, already published that it's the request of VMRO- DPMNE for changes to the Penal Code. According to “By doing so, they would have been indirectized.
Good source informed by VMRO- The DPMNE for Alsat M confirmed that part of the talks with power are changes to the penal code and that the same have agreed in the context of amendments to the law on financing political parties. More specifically, Article 165, which regulates responsibility for misusing means for financing political campaign. The second article for which change is required is Article 353 concerning abuse of office and official authorization. Our source claims VMRO- The DPMNE has not demanded lowering the sentence for individual responsibility for committing criminal acts according to these two provisions. It has called for punitive provisions to be introduced into the law for financing political parties, and most importantly, to hide parts of the law generating penalties for the political party itself. The goal, according to the opposition, is to sentence individuals who have committed abuses not to cause party closure.
Alsat M called for an official stance from VMRO- The DPMNE on whether the party will further demand amnesty for April 27th, but also amnesty “direct” which the prime minister was talking about. So far we haven't been answered. /Alsat M/
