President Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and Foreign Affairs Minister Behgjet Pacolli are in consultations about the mandate of Kosovo diplomats abroad.

In a response, Sami Kastrati, a public communications official within the MPJ, has indicated that a number of ambassadors will return too soon.

According to him, ambassadors returned so far have been arranged at the MPJ.

The establishment of diplomats is an ongoing and natural process in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. So far a number of ambassadors and diplomats have returned, who have completed their mandate and have already been arranged within the MPJ. Another group will be back soon. In the meantime, consultations on new appointments, meeting the vacante positions, respectively, is taking place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the president and Prime Minister”, Kastrati told Indescline.

Otherwise, at the beginning of this year, it was Pacolli who had declared that the ambassadors who had the mandate expired will no longer be continued. They will return to Kosovo and be replaced by others.

A few months ago, a group of ambassadors serving in Turkey, Serbia, Skopje, Slovenia, France, the United Kingdom, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was released from their duties after the mandate ended.
