Since this government mandate has begun, your arrivals to the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo can be counted by the fingertips of one hand, I am obliged to publicly address you with this letter, which comes as a result of numerous requests from Llapi farmers for an emergency situation! ”, Maloku has launched her letter published today.
The one in the letter to the minister asks for subsidies for Llap's milk producers, who, according to her, are facing difficulties.

Public letter to the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Nenad Ricalo!
Since this governing mandate has begun, your arrivals to the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo can be counted by the fingers of one hand, I am obliged to publicly address you with this letter, which comes from numerous requests from Llap farmers for an emergency situation!
In recent years the Llap region has become known throughout Europe for growing raisins. In the Podujevo municipality, more than 1,000 hectares of land are planted with raisins, while 469 farmers are certified with the Global Gap Standard, which makes it the second largest group in the world for the number of certified farmers. This is a huge agricultural achievement. The European market, each year, overflows with “Lapi's mandate”, leaving the products of other European countries behind in quality.
But, Mr. Minister, within two years of 2.15 euros at the price of one pound of raspberries, has now dropped to 80 cents. So farmers are facing emergency conditions! As a representative of the people, as deputies in the Parliament, I request that you urgently take measures to subsidize the production of raspberries. We don't have the luxury of losing the years-old Podujevo Community investment, USAID as well as hundreds of families, due to your negligence on this problem.
The same situation is on the entire territory of Kosovo. What farmers ask for is the subvention of the raspberry production of raisins to be subsidized by the Ministry of Agriculture. As for your information, Mr. President. Minister,
In the Podujevo municipality, variety is mostly cultivated P O THE LKA, whose productivity reaches 10 tons of raspberry per hectare. If the government doesn't subsidise raspberry growers in all of Kosovo, from next year, Kosovo will no longer have this cornfield of raisins, nor farmers who are willing to deal with its cultivation. We are hoping that the raspberry growers will receive the necessary help from the state.
