LDK accuses power of making ambassadors party militants

According to an LDK communique, today, the Commission's deputy chairman from the AAK ranks has called the Assembly of the Foreign Affairs Commission for interviewing both candidates for political ambassadors proposed by the MPJ.
The Parliamentary Assembly of the Democratic League of Kosovo considers this process illegal, and for this reason the head of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, MP Vjosa Osmani and MP Doruntine Maloku, have refused to participate in this meeting and become part of the constitutional violations”, the communiqué says.
According to the LDK, Article 7.7 of the Law for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Service of the Republic of Kosovo requires at least 50% of those appointed as head of missions to be career ambassadors, while the rest are political appointed.
