Kosovo Security Force Minister Rrustem Berisha says he has not rejected the salary with growth, as has the decision on the Government of Kosovo.
But, he has said he does not know why his salary has not been reached with increases, as has most government cabinet ministers.
I didn't reject the growing side. Why it hasn't gotten any bigger, I'll know Monday when I get to work. I have a death case and I haven't been able to handle it. On Monday, I'm going to explain”, Berisha said on Sunday.
The Express newspaper reported on Sunday that besides Besim Beqaj, three other ministers have rejected the growing salary. Among them are Rrustem Berisha, Abelard Tahiri and Besim Beqaj. He has said he is still consulting the legal basis of the decision, so he has not even prosecuted the growing salary.
The Minister of Innovation, Besim Beqaj, has confirmed that he has received the salary without growth, as he has not prosecuted the growing wages that Government Chief Ramush Haradinaj has made. This official of The PDK's said that the increased pay has not been received because it is still consulting the legal basis of the decision.
We have no proceedings. We're consulting. We're consulting the constitutional base”, Beqaj said on Saturday.
The government's decision has been described as illegal both by the Anti-corruption Agency, which has warned Criminal Kalzim against officials who will benefit from Ramush Haradinaj's decision to raise salaries.
Meanwhile, Kalzim Penal has made the Vetevendosje Movement towards government officials, who have received wages with increase.
The Constitutional Court, in an interpretation of the Government's decision to raise wages, had said growth should be based on the Budget Law. The same institution had found no evidence that the decision was unconstitutional.
Against Ramush Haradinaj for receiving the increase pay, four other ministers have emerged.
Pos Bedri Hamza, who stated last week that he would not accept the salary with increase, so have two other PDK ministers in Government. They are, Abelard Tahiri of Beqaj.
In December last year, the Kosovo government, led by Ramush Haradinaj, made a decision to raise government cabinet salaries. The decision was suspended for several months until the Constitutional Court of Kosovo ruled on June 11th that it is not unconstitutional.
Under that decision, the prime minister's salary of 1,500 euros will be 2,950 euros, while deputy prime ministers from 1,300 euros, to 2,500 euros.
A minister's salary has been around 1,200 euros, meanwhile, under that decision, will be 2,000 euros. However, over 70 deputy ministers, appointed at the Haradinaj government, will accept monthly salaries of 1,150 euros.
