Kosovo Security Force Minister (FSK), Rrustem Berisha, has held the media conference regarding recent-day demands by several members of the Serb community for evacuation from KSF.

Full Communication

The Kosovo Security Force, in recent days, is facing the phenomenon of requests for evacuation from the KSF of some members of the non-Serb community.

According to MSF estimates, these calls for evacuation are due to the intentional attacks on KSF, members of the Serb community respectively, and are trying to undermine the achievements and development of the KSF, as well as its image as the most reliable institution in the country for years.

We feel pity for our members who are not allowed to decide freely for the continued professional career, their future, negatively affecting their well-being and their families.

KSF members from the Serbian community have been very well integrated at the level of their responsibilities and tasks, so blackmail and threats made are unacceptable, violating basic human rights.

Ethnic diversity and professionalism of the Kosovo Security Force is a value that is known and acceptable to our international friends and NATO member states, and that value is preventing those who do not want the good for Kosovo and its citizens, regardless of which community they belong.

The KSF will continue in fulfillment of the mission and further development of operational capacities, as well as commitment to the end of the transition to the Kosovo Armed Forces (FAK), as a modern defence force for Kosovo and its people indiscriminately.

The Kosovo road and the Kosovo Security Force will not stop. The KSF has been, is and will be open to all communities living in Kosovo and will always be serving its citizens.
