For Kosovo, Moscow wants solution that Serbia would accept

“We strongly oppose artificial deadlines in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue. Starting with the fact that a solution to the Kosovo problem is possible only in terms of its accession on the part of Serbia”, Zaharova told Beta news agency.

Russia's “Position is that this process should respect international law and that the foundation stone to resolve the Kosovo issue is UN Security Council Resolution 1244, under which Kosovo is an integral part of Serbia”, she said when asked about Moscow's response if Belgrade and Pristina reach an agreement without involvement or consulting Moscow about it.
