Kosovo is managing asylum seekers well

Interior Ministry Minister Bejtush Gashi hosted the new UNHCR mission chief in Kosovo, Erol Arduk, who was accompanied by Narasima Rao, former head of the mission.

Minister Gashi expressed readiness for co-operation with the new chief, with the goal of implementing joint projects. This meeting also discussed joint projects by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and U NHCRs in the migration field, praising that Kosovo institutions are well managing the issue of asylum seekers in Kosovo.

According to the media statement, Gashi also reported on concrete results conducted by the MPB in the migration field, consisting that the Republic of Kosovo has already consolidated a functional mechanism in the field of migration and is working on building operational capacities in this area.

And what about the chief of U's mission? NHCR in Kosovo, Narasima Rao stressed that good co-operation will continue even more the new chief.
