Kosovo concerned with the fact that Serbia distributes free weapons

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo expresses deep concern over the publication of convincing evidence from international creditable organisations, such as Amnesty International that the weapons produced in the Serbian state continue to be used by several African states, which make systematic human rights violations and even use by [...]

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs under a communique calls for the International Community to increase control, verification and oversight of such conduct and actions of the Serbian state on the African continent, which indirectly contribute to abuses of fundamental human rights and serious threats to peace and security.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs estimates that publishing these evidence strengthens the conviction that Serbia has used and is using the sale and pardon of weapons as a tool of diplomacy to lure some non-recognitional states of the Republic of Kosovo into the African continent, so as not to take such a step”, it is said in the communique. /Periscopi/
