Thousands of Kosovars have addressed Albania's coast. Since the early hours of the day at the Morina border checkpoint, hundreds of vehicles and buses have arrived to spend weekends and holidays in Albania.
Unlike other times, Border Police have increased the number of sports, according to loads from 10 to 14 sports, creating optimum conditions for free passage and without delay of the border. Even though the influx of Kosovo citizens has been very high, the increase in sports and accelerated procedures implemented by Border Police have avoided the ranks and duration of customs.
According to Border Police only in the hours before the day until 7:00 p.m., more than 820 vehicles with about 60,000 citizens have entered Albania. The flight of movement has been felt across the entire Nation Road, which from the following July 1st is monitored by joint police patrols from the two countries.
