The European Commission's visa-free proposal is now expected to be approved by the European Council and Parliament soon.
They have also thanked MPB officials and its agencies for their commitment to meeting 70 of the country's 95 visa liberalisation criteria that have been the responsibility of this ministry.
Co-operation with other Kosovo Government institutions, international partners and citizens during this process has played a key role, and will continue further in order to successfully complete this vital process for the free movement of Kosovo citizens, the MPB community says.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs will remain committed to efficient management of the process after visa liberalisation and ensure all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will be announced over all rights and obligations stemming from free movement in the Schengen area.
