Revitriminating crossing point includes new control booths, electronic system and administrative building, which will enable the implementation of integrated border management. The border crossing point in Morina covers most of the flow of goods through Kosovo, as well as almost all tourist traffic entering Albania from the northeast.
The onem-euro project, funded by the EU Delegation to Albania, provides infrastructure for effective border controls, in line with EU requirements given Schengen standards.
The rebuilt border crossing points support the work of border and migration police, contributing to achieving higher efficiency and better performance.
EU chiefs in Kosovo and Albania Nataliya Apostolova and Romana Vlahin, Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj and Albania's Minister of Internal Affairs Fatmir Xhafaj attend the ceremony.
