Get up has estimated that Safet Hoxha's selection as a member of the Constitutional, who was an assamblis of The PDK in Suhareka and who had attended the political gatherings of the same party, and then ran for a member of the PDK General Council, does not meet professional criteria and questions the Constitutional independence and impartiality, writes Periscopi.
“Calling for the last election and voting, one of the voted members, Safet Hoxha, in addition to being the Kosovo Democratic Party's Council of the Municipal Assembly in Suhareka, he had also attended the political gatherings of this party in the Suhareka municipality, which he himself confirmed. Moreover, in the general election for the PDK Steering Council in 2013, Safet Hoxha was also run for a member of the PDK General Steering Council. We consider the candidates as Mr. Hoxha does not meet the necessary criteria of integrity and professional independence, thus affecting the impartiality and independence of the Constitutional Court”, it said in response.
Arise has asked President Thaci not to decree Safet Hodza so that the citizens' distrust of the highest court in the country does not increase. /Periscopi/
